If you don't know what affirmative action is: In the USA, looking at the raw statistical admissions data into medical schools, Whites and Asians on average need to score around 92% on the MCAT for admission, while Blacks need to score around 64% for admissions.

For all matriculants to US medical schools in the fall of 2015, the average MCAT score for Asians (32.8) and whites (31.8) were above the average MCAT score of 31.4 for all matriculants, while the average MCAT score for Hispanics (28.0) and blacks (27.3) had average MCAT scores below the overall average (see second to last column in table)
I think we need to do more to address racism and sexism in chess. Looking at the top 100 players, every single one is male, and almost every single one is of White European ancestry, with notable exceptions of Indians and East Asians.
I think in chess we to do something to combat racism and sexism so that it is more equal for all people until we have an equal number of all races and sexes in the top 100, just like it is in academia in America. For example, maybe White Males can start the game with no queen. If that's not enough then maybe they have to play the game wearing headphones blaring painful screeching sounds. What do you think?

A good way to combat racism and sexism would be to not to make racist, sexist posts I guess right?
Your post is a nice example of how certain people are made to feel excluded from chess (and other things).

I'm reminded of a poignant short story I once read:

"I think in chess we to do something to combat racism and sexism so that it is more equal for all people until we have an equal number of all races and sexes in the top 100, just like it is in academia in America"
Where can I find this ranking of the top 100 academics? 2700citations.com perhaps?

@KateKidna I'm really sad you found my post to be racist and sexist, but there is not one thing in there that is racist or sexist. I'm trying to help the situation. You don't need to flame me for that. I think we should do more to help, don't you? Maybe you are the racist, thinking everyone should not be equal by law and not given equal outcomes. Why don't you think everyone should have equal outcomes?

@self_service , a coin toss is just unnecessary, first of all, chess was first played thousands of years ago, when there was no racism to consider.
If you want to take a look yourself to see how old chess is and how much its changed, go to this link:
