The West's aim "is not the victory of Ukraine, It's the defeat of Russia," Baud says. "The problem is that nobody cares about Ukraine. We have just instrumentalized Ukraine for the purpose of US strategic interests -- not even European interests."

You Russians simply don't get it. Russia's time is over.
The democracy is the future. With Ukrainia, US, Europe and everyone who cultivates freedom and human rights. Of course there is not everything perfect there, at least we can talk about.
By the way, what about a peace deal including Russia giving back the stolen Ukrainian territory? No one would oppose.
There was a perfect way to maintain peace: Russia not invading Ukraine.
There is absolutely no way to trust Russia's word, it's already promised once to respect Ukraine's border in the past.
There is one way to have peace, Russia just leave Ukraine alone and go back to their country, anything short of that is a victory for autocracy and barbarism. I'm happy to pay more for electricity bills and for my country to send weapons to Ukraine to help our Ukrainian brothers in their struggle for independance.

As an American I am so proud that American and European governments have not stuck their collective heads in the sand and followed an appeasement strategy to the invasion of Ukraine.
Good productive lives of Ukrainian people have been interrupted, decades will be needed to rebuild. Russian citizens have suffered through lost lives of their soldiers and ripple effects throughout their economy.
Many tough days are ahead, I will pray for best resolution of the war. War planners in U.S. and Russia are aware the conflict could evolve to catastrophic levels. Why is Putin pushing?
