To the OP: "Is a hotdog..... A sandwich?" and "How many chickens would it take...to kill an elephant? " are completely seperate questions.
If you intended them to be utterly unrelated and truly wanted an opinion on both, then the answer to the former is both yes and no, and also neither. A hotdog is both a sandwich and not a sandwich, and is also neither a sandwich nor not a sandwich. I won't bore you with the details here. But all of these apply.
As for the second question, "How many chickens would it take to kill an elephant"?: this is absurd. There is no true answer here; the question is practically a non-sequitur.

If we Force Feed an elephant with chickens, my guess about 30 chickens. The elephant will die of indigestion as his digestive system is not suitable for animal protein/
