I'm watching the news right now and trying to figure out how the US is going to be able to avoid another war. I've not yet looked at what Russia has to say about all this. Usually Russia has a significant influence on the US's outside affairs, especially when it comes to Iran and Syria.
Something that seems to factor in here as opposed to many similar situations from the past is that the Pentagon and so on are actually in contradiction to the president's actions instead of supporting it. I wonder what kind of influence this will have on the opposing counties.
Also trump just now said in a live interview he would actually attack cultural sites if Iran were to retaliate and the situation escalates. This is shocking to hear even to me. Especially with his impeachment trial coming up. For a US President to knowingly threaten to commit war crimes in any situation is insane on so many levels.

Ah : D @bunyip great minds. See this is one of those situations where it doesn't matter if you're Republican/Democrat or klingon. laws are laws especially one this serious. His argument saying "well they do this and that so I can too" is incredibly useless. How would we distinguish ourselves from the terrorists if not for these international laws.
I've never seen people who can dodge as many straight forward questions as a politition in a public interview. I'd be surprised if just 1 percent of politics where honest human beings.

As you know such terrorists historically hide in schools, hospitals and mosques. They use civilian and historical sites to house weapons and hide their leadership to avoid being bombed. Once again, I ask, can OP or perhaps similar minded people to OP specify as to how he “suffers” due to Trump? As in does your knee hurt? Did you lose money in your bank account? Did your parents die by Trump’s bombs while visiting Iranian cultural sites? in what specific ways have you “suffered”? Did you develop cancer? Or perhaps TDS? (Trump Derangement Syndrome)
