Is Trump finally going down or do we have to suffer much longer?

@Kusokosla
Really funny/sad seeing you say NY Times doesn't understand what impeachment is..nobody has said Trump is guilty(yet),but they have found that at law there is a prima facie case against him.
It appears that in fact you are the one who either does not understand your own country's laws,or you choose to selectively ignore them.
First time I ever heard USA called a nanny-state...something else you might not understand.
That crazy thing you said about getting some friends to say something then impeaching someone is another blind spot in your perceptions of reality.
Are you now,or have you ever been a member of the Economist fraternity or the Political Science coven?
Do you remove those yummy round pickle thingies from your Big Mac?
This impeachment is just a failed publicity stunt, this will be like the Clinton impeachment, literally boosting his support.
@solacriptura The #Trump has been impeached, when the impeachment goes to the senate it will be for his trial, they might find him guilty or not, but the title of "3rd President of the US of A impeached" is his for history...
@Cherry_Operator
I would contend that the Clinton episode just made public what everyone already knew,and accepted...that Clinton was the maestro when it came to pullin' the chicks.
That,it could be argued,is somewhat removed from seeking foreign powers' intrusion into American domestic politics and obstructing Congress.
As soon as the Republican senators agree to hear witnesses,we can all settle in and watch the show.
Why don't they want any witnesses..are they trying to hide the truth? I am at a loss to think of any other reason.Surely if they believe the whole thing is a crock,they should challenge the Congress to "put up or shut up"?
The Republican contention that they want a quick resolution and so do not wish to string it out by hearing expert eyewitness testimony somehow sounds...Trumpian. Unless they agree to an open and transparent trial,the articles will remain a Damocles Sword.Queen Nancy Patricia is holding all the trump cards.
@Kusokosla as usual sees things the way he likes to see them through the narrowness of his "I'm-doing-good-in-my-business-so-Trump-must-be-a-good-president", but let's give him the benefit of doubt.
Let's see, Kuso, name ONE single newspaper that did not have for a header that #Trump was impeached on the 20th of December...
"What most people don’t realize is that impeachment simply means the other party has enough voices in the House to try to overturn the results of a previous election."

@Kusokosla that is the dumbest thing you have written so far, and you have said some real winners.
An impeachment simply means that you have committed acts that go against the rules that you have sworn to uphold. It has NOTHING to do with the election, they might remove you from office if they find you guilty of the charges that they impeached you for or not, but the electorate is left untouched, the election is left alone...
Here's a prediction based on precedent...resign the presidency on condition they do not proceed with a trial that will see you end up in jail.
