I did not care for either candidate but also felt the patterns of misinformation, that both sides used, was more extreme from the Democrats. ( sorry but Trump is not and will not be a Hitler ).
I would like to see the Democrats move back towards the middle which would help to influence American politics in a positive way.

A much stronger argument for why they lost (besides stupidity and blaming a global economic crisis brought by Covid crisis on Biden) would be they didn’t go left enough. If they had all the votes withheld due to the support of the genocide in Gaza, they may have had a chance.

Lol the "dems are far/extreme left" or socialist literally is meaningless crap people who watch fox repeat without any reflection of reality - I WISH they were - I wish they seriously pursued universal healthcare, livable wages, and a plethora of other policies that actually advanced western countries do.
It's not the middle the dems need to move to, it's the left - where they can actually achieve tangible, unique goals - rather than playing the "less exciting less racist corporatists card"
A candidate like Bernie would've had the energy to win, boring ass 'moderates' do not.

The American system of governance is designed to not allow one flavor of politics to win in perpetuity.
When neither side can gain a long term advantage, the system is intact and working.
The founders got it right. Or we would not have lasted this long.
