By the way, @-Skittle-Head and @-MrPushwood , remind me not to get into a trivia contest with either of you. Well played. @Noflaps
The shoe has been on the other foot for a very long time , as now I don't trust anyone under 30 ! -:]

Well, I'm clean and like dogs, anyway. Every other description of me is still open to question. But thank you, @Inventor_1 . I'm glad that you're contributing to the forum. And to get a thumbs up from @dukedog , too? That might cause me to blush.
Nah. I haven't blushed in decades. I'm not likely to restart the display.
By the way, @Inventor_1 , I appreciate your reticence and it confirms my admiration of you. And I'm even confident that you'll understand what I mean! I value caution and objectivity even more than compliments.
And @Skittle-Head ? Thank you, too. The forum is relatively small, but it seems to have more than its share of worthies, and you are helping to continue its worth.

"I think 18 is much too young to run a government, but then again literal babies would do a better job then our current one." writes @AsDaGo , a poster whose contributions I tend to read dependably.
Thanks for the kind words. I do appreciate that you are always respectful in your posts, even if I don't always agree with them.
Of course, California might not be the jurisdiction that @AsDaGo had in mind.
I was thinking more of the whole US government, which is not exactly comprised of saints at the moment, to put it lightly.

Dammit, I'm late to the Logan's Run jokes. Stupid dinner of fish, plankton, sea greens, and protein from the sea!

Lets take a scenario, what if young people forms govt b/w 18-30 age group than older people...
After 30 the person will resign or after his/her term last over.
People vote for them!
How would country/laws/govt would be?
Would there will be more peace? Would Ice cream be free on hectic monday's?
NO vegies in dinner? or taking a real life scenario...
There will hierarchy too like 30 would be the highest/eldest official person and 18 would be youngest...
ofc they would be completing their education, side by side after 18 if they want or maybe compulsorily, whatever...
What do you think world will look and function?
its so hypothetical..lol..ok as per your raised points...ans is no..you would be living i a horrible corrupted society if only YOUNGS formed the govt..you gain maturity and responsiblity only after a certain age
