Help!!

I tried sending a message to @abjayAN , we had a spamming competition.
The message was too large to send, so I tried deleting it. However it was so large after 5 minutes of holding the delete button it won't work go away. I tried refreshing the page and turning off and on my computer but it doesn’t work.
I even tried highlighting the text and mass deleting it but the text is just way too long.
Is there anyone that can give advice?
I cannot message @abjayan anymore if this continues.

However, it's not even something worth fixing to be honest. The only way true chat "stasis" can be achieved is by, as you said, a "spamming competition", which is just stupid. You shouldn't be doing that anyway.

I still can’t delete all that text it is too much.
I can talk on the phone but not on the laptop anymore because the text stays in that device.

So you mean that the whole "don't abuse the infrastructure" thing in the ToS WASN'T a joke?!

Try sending the message, and keep deleting if it still large.

I don't think you can do anything else other than never messaging that person again.

I kept multiplying the text by 2 every time by copy and pasting.

According to this article I may have gotten a few million lines of text.
I just kept doubling it by clicking select all.
But then I can't select all when it is stuck here in this mode.
