Ever had your car stolen? My first car was stolen before I made the first payment. It was full of gas and just washed and waxed. At the time, I was just about the only white household in Jamestown Apt. in Baltimore MD. It was on THE WIRE, Stringer left one of the units in an episode. It was found near Mondawmin Mall with some candy wrappers in it, busted ignition, but otherwise OK. Fun fact, Mondawmin Mall in the early 1990s was the only Mall I ever visited without a BOOK store, but with a LIQUOR store. Another fun fact, the black Church lady next store would say to friends "White people just don't understand!" (paper thin walls). The other nice black family next door helpfully advised to secure the sliding door since they are so easily broken into. While I lived at Jamestown, I also had the privilege of my mail stolen/rifled (incl. cancelled checks) and my Orville Dreadenbacker and my wife's original G/D tie die were stolen from the laundry room
