Google Docs huge error

So, I was working on my assignment this morning, and everything was all cool. When I came back a few hours later, the formatting was just off. My words ran off the paper, as if the right side of the paper had unlimited indent. And the entire document basically died. I couldn't highlight anything, which was very weird. Everything was suddenly single spaced, which wasn't what I wanted. Ctrl + A (select all) didn't work. I couldn't even put my mouse in the middle of my text, which made absolutely no sense. When I made a new document, there was the same error.

Here's what I've tried:
Closing the documents/drive multiple time, as well as refreshing
Closing Google Chrome
Clearing cookies, cache, and browsing history
Completely shutting down my computer
Closing all extensions

Interestingly, I only have this issue on my own computer, on Google Chrome. But not my iPad nor another computer. When I opened the document on Microsoft Edge, it also worked normally.

Can anybody please help me? I really need help with this. Thanks.

P.S. If anyone knows how I can post a image on Lichess, please tell me. It's a little hard to describe how my document looks verbally.

Hmm, I uninstalled then reinstalled Chrome, then everything was back to normal!
