Criticism on Christianity based on statements in the holy testament

James Smith "1st Kings 7:23 - And he made a molten sea ten cubits from one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about"

A cubit is the length from one's elbow to their shoulder. This statement claims that the ocean is 30 cubits long, which is simply not true. Furthermore, in Leviticus 25:44, it states:

"Leviticus 25:44 - Your male and female slaves are to come from the nation around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clan born in your country, and they will become your property. You can bequeath them to you children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life"

This clearly supports slavery, which can be used to question moral of Christianity if someone follows the bible word by word.

That comes from the book which calls whales "fish" and bats "birds". Why shouldn't pi equal 3 for the idiots who wrote it?

Again, the people fabracting this were idiots. Advocating slavery and blatant racism fits the picture.
Cubits? He's clearly addressing the field of quantum computation. It's all the rage again these days.
The first verse is from a chapter talking about the construction of Solomons Temple, they are describing an engineered pond made by hebrew craftsmen. This isn't describing an existing natural sea.

The second criticism is very bizarre, you are saying that Christianity ,which is a religion that tells you what is moral and immoral, is itself immoral by the standard of your own subjective morality.

What matters isn't what Christian morality says about slavery or women or gays or whatever other modern sensibility it offends.

What matters is if Christianity is TRUE, and if it is true you have to accept it.
It must be remembered that when the "Old and New Testaments" were written. 98-99% of people could not read or write Hebrew or Greek. But the church "fathers" could. The uneducated were sold untruths and they passed it down. (for proof look at how many forms christens have existed.) and some still do.
Well how many people today believe everything that THE SCIENCE says without reading research papers, or even having the ability to read academic writing?

Five. Mind you, @AntiLiteracyActivist , that's just a highly scientifically sponsored guesstimoid.

Good point. One difficulty to overcome is that many, if not most research is written in language common to the researcher’s peers. It doesn’t often translate well for the masses to comprehend at times. Hence, many simply take a “leap of faith” when attempting to align themselves with a particular subject.
