Christianity

So I'm Christian, but my parents aren't. I want to know how to embrace God without a Bible.
without Bible? if you think it’s possible then..
give others the benefit of doubt

...even those where you think omg
(cos maybe they're handicapped or only 4yo)

but send god's wrath on the evil ones and apply the death stare ( or ask [ @whatsisname ] to do it for you )
prayer and memorization of scripture my favorite is psalms 23 if you are able to google it
The question you should be asking is why do you believe, and is it appropriate to try to force those beliefs onto others unless you are absolutely sure what you believe is true? I am sure you would not be too happy if someone tried to push you to believe in something you didn't believe in.

Oh, that's easy. During the Medieval the church actively prohibited normal people from reading the bible. Only clergymen were allowed to read it.

So if Joe Public could believe in his god without reading the bible I guess you can too. As they say: The less you know the easier it is to believe.
How to embrace God? You have to be greatfull and thankfull for the gift of life he gave to you. When you feel happy or good, when something good or amazing happens, you can mention him and express your thankfullness to him.

If you need a book or something else to embrace your belief, then I would hardly call you religious.

Don't confuse your belief by adding religious doctrines.
Organized religion is not a belief in something divine, it's a blind faith that the people who came before you, knows better and more than you do. Belief based on others interpretation and experiences, and faith that they narrated everything down correctly is not a belief in a God, it's a belief and trust in regular humans.

You say your parents ain't christians, (maybe they have another religion, or no religion at all, doesn't matter)
Let's say you believe in the words of "a" bible (there are plural interpretations), believing in the words written by people that lived one or two thousand years before you, however you don't believe your own parents, who lives simultaneously as you?

That's a lot of faith to put onto words and strangers, all long dead. With no source to back it up.

"Hey, Moses, can you provide sources for your talk with the burning bush?"
"I had some tablets, but I smashed them after you all questioned my leadership. But just to show you, that I have spoken to a representative of God, and that my mind is strong, I mesmerized it all and can copy/paste everything"
"....yeah... Uhm...so no proff?, meaning now I must have both faith in you, and faith in God!"

Organized religion is a faith split between faith in something divine and a faith/trust in those strangers who claims to know more than you, regarding a topic that can not be proved.
