Some reasons for the CAPTCHA:
1. To have more time to spot mistakes in your post.
2. To make sure you are of a certain age.( Two year-olds might not be to chess puzzles. )
3. So you won’t accidentally post something you have not finished typing.
4. To prove you are human.
