No they don't , they were just made out of fears of our ancestors , which is related to psychology , Like many of the ghosts are shown red because red indicates bleeding or a war scene , this just passed on from generations to generations and the untrue fear still lives in our brain

It's got to be an illusion there is no proof present to prove the existence of ghosts , many believe that it is related to the fears of the primitive humans
