won with a king and a knight

i just won a game with a king and a knight.it was a time out on a 3 and 0 blitz.
my oponent had a king and two pawns.

should that have been a draw on insufficient material
its not checkmate because the king is not even in check and could back up if it was in check
King and bishop cannot checkmate king and rook or king and queen but there are no other cases of insufficient material when both sides have material (unless you add extra pieces to my example). Notably a king and knight can checkmate a king and queen (obviously not by force).
they better fix this bug in the system because this is not the first time this has happened
It‘s according to the official FIDE rules. Everything ok!
i went over the #2 post again but still didnt see anything in there that proves you can mate with a king and knight
