Why does my opponent keep getting more time?

I don't understand why he only was allotted an additional 15 seconds 4 separate times during our game, ruining the fairness of the game. Is this a bug or a feature I'm not aware of?

Most likely you pressed the plus button next to his name to give him extra time? It gives 15 seconds each time you click it.

weird... when I check the game there was no time gain appearing in the chat

@benwerner I'm aware of the button but definitely did not press it. This happened 4 times during this game. @ChessHydra it did show up in chat during the game. When you use the function to replay the game at actual speed you can watch his countdown clock jump back 15 seconds 4 times. It was very distracting during the game to see him magically getting more time repeatedly.

I have seen this happen to. I would like to know.

@Snowfluff yes, just in case there is a bug that pressed this option automatically. If you turn it off that may be avoided.
