@Sarg0n
Im just curious, why is that a rule?
It seems logical that one would want to provide some sort of 'bonus' for those who contribute; as both a incentive and just as a 'thank you'.
Maybe not anything as extreme as titled + patrons; but a patrons only arena or something seems like it could be beneficial.
I mean; of course you wouldnt want to give the patrons any sort of advantage over non patrons; nothing like 'pay to win'; which is what I would interpret from the 'no benefits' thing. Access to a special tournament wouldnt do that. It would just be a thanks from lichess sorta deal.
I know those who have patreons; like big youtubers and such; usually provide some sort of 'thank you' for those who contribute.
The YT PhillyD is a good example; who has live Q&As and sends some Tshirts or something to those who help on the Patreon.
Is there a reason this is a 'rule'? As I said above; just seems like it would benefit both Lichess and the Patrons.
