unplayable time addition

There is no reasonable way to play any speed games on this site as long as clock time is allotted for internet delay. It is a ridiculous system.

so give us a better system
this system is to help those with lag
those that do lag switching which i am 90% sure is what you are complaining about should be reported and blocked
Here is my chief complaint. It matters far less in standard chess, of course, but in speed chess (blitz or bullet), it matters a great deal how much time your opponent has remaining since much play is predicated on resourceful use of limited time. People make more errors when playing faster and the overall approach to playing is different. But when I am playing a tight endgame and I can't tell if the 1 second on my opponent's clock is truly 1 second or actually 8 seconds, based on lag correction, it makes a huge difference. I play a lot of speed chess, and it is not at all uncommon for a player to have 1 second left on his clock and yet manage to make 5, 7, 9, or even more moves. I understand pre-moving, but this isn't that. I am not actually arguing against the lag correction so much (though I dislike it) as I am the fact that in timed games, where time is a crucial factor, you have no real idea how much time there is remaining. That defeats the whole purpose of speed chess.

then please name a solution that does not hurt people with bad ping and that meets your criteria

You always speak as if other can do better.
Come on, everything is bound to get criticism and the real developers behind it should accept it and try to improve.

ok yes lets improve it but how
how can the devs make it better
no point in complaining about something if you cant provide a better way to do it

like complaining about people using gas powered cars in 1950 because it harms the enviroment and not giving them a better option (ev did not exist yet)

Buddy, as I said, many do openly point out their views on particular thing. They don't think properly. And they find complaining/trolling someone as best. Courtesy social media.

That's different case.
Usage of gas powered vehicles is harmful. Why use it in first place when it has negative impact to environment? So someone had to come up with electric vehicle later.

but explain to me what must the devs do because they can't just improve
what must they improve or how like crack down on lag switchs or use a differant system
Why isn't it possible to offer a playing option that does not make any correction for internet lag time?

If it was, then it would greatly affect connection and network strength.
