Any idea why this might be? My bullet rating is 1450 or so after about 40 games, yet I can only join the U2000 bullet tournament, not U1700 or U1500. Is this a bug, or is there another requirement I'm missing?
Thanks
Your bullet score was too high (above 1500) until yesterday:
lichess.org/@/astro_bball/perf/bulletYou're just too good!
#1 Your rating must be lower than 1700 for a week in order to join U1700 tournaments. It is done to avoid huge amounts of sandbaggers in the tournaments.
YEAH, that's fine for sandbaggers, but for those of us walking the line around 1700, this is simply not fair.
If the rules are public and applied to everyone equally then in what sense are they unfair?
Thanks for the information everyone. I understand that maintaining a <1700 rating for some amount of time makes sense, but it's weird that my provisional rating briefly being above 1700 would count against me.
#6 I agree.
