Why in the heck, did you ever change it to this incredibly stupid format where a tournament starts by a sliver at the end of a screen. It literally gives me a headache. Please, for the love of all things holy in Chess, make tournaments end when they go past the red line, again, not before it.
I want to help but I have no idea what you're referring to.
What i'm referring to is that tournaments no longer end when they go past the red bisected line, and no longer start when they touch the bisected red line, that was the old way and it made perfect sense when a tournament started and ended. Now it doesn't make any sense, it's convoluted, contrived, and gives me headache, why would they ever change it, it was perfect before they updated it like a year ago.
The red line refers to what time it is now. It makes perfect sense to me.
Are we talking about
lichess.org/tournament ? Like #5 says the dashed red line is "now" so tournaments begin when now matches the tournament start time, and conclude when now matches the tournament end time, no?
I didn't code any changes to the page so I can only guess what it did a year ago. Indeed, this source code changing is the reason my local Lichess instance doesn't compile & run, which I'm trying to fix...

Here is a screen shot, with red line showcasing the problem. I remember that it use to work the way I want it fixed.

@ElectricChessPieces i have the same background! From your complaint it would be more aesthetically pleasing for you if the tournaments window was a little bit larger so that time slots don't truncate so abruptly does that sound right?
Why can't it just go back to the old way? but yes.
