Please take a look at this game. At the very end, I had about 20 minutes added to my clock in :15 second interval. It was wild, but I don't know what happened.

There is a feature allowing to add 15 seconds to your opponent's time. If you want to prevent it, you can disable it for your games in your profile settings: https://lichess.org/account/preferences/chess-clock#giveMoreTime

Oh, was my opponent being rude and just spamming the give time button? Odd - anyhow, I've turned it off. Thank you for the assistance.

Can't help being fascinated how many people find it offending or even "rude" if they are donated more time. And I fail to understand why someone would feel like that.

No - There is some context to it. I had like 30 minutes left on the clock - he had < 4. There was no reason at all to give me extra time - especially spam me 20 extra minutes. And I wasn't offended - I was just asking b/c I didn't know and don't understand why.

In comment #3 you called your opponent's action "rude". So... what exactly is "rude" in giving you more time? How exactly does it harm you?

I was only asking. That's no harm at all. But it went from not knowing how I got 20 minutes added to my clock, to understanding that my opponent put it there when the only person under time trouble was him. There was not a reason to distractingly spam the clock button that seemed reasonable - so I was asking.
It doesn't matter in the slightest.
Thank you for the help. I've turned that feature off.
