This isn't chess anymore

@p0w3rfullg0d, for all our sakes: STUDY the rules! Or listen to the people who have done so! Maybe, you'll find your peace after that...
Games are supposed to end by checkmate first and foremost. Time controls are not a mandatory part of the game in the first place. Both players are supposed to find the best moves in each position, not to just play fast to flag the opponent.

Your game is a technical draw after 45 Kxd5. 50...Kb4 even is a straight losing move - instead of complaning, you should be happy that he wasn't able to mate you in his remaining 10 seconds (you would have deserved it). Or moved slightly faster than you to make up the 3 seconds difference.
Some want to win with a bare king and some want to get away with draw if their opponent can still checkmate them with a lone bishop or knight. It seems the FIDE rules are well balanced as they are and as they are implemented here.

Moving aimlessly with a lone king and then hoping to get a win is not chess anymore.
A king alone could win a game if he was a jedi.
@tpr Moving aimlessly with a lone king and then hoping to get a win was always in chess. Never watched a bullet or hyperbullet match?
If you had more time, maybe you could use it to stay with such pieces that would in some scenario enable you to win (flagging an opponent with pawn against all his pieces is a win). It is just your problem than you did not manage to keep a piece that can mate on the table ;)

And also, when you are left alone with a king and running helplessly around the board to flag the opponent is the non-gentleman strive for a draw by flagging the opponent.
@p0w3rfullg0d "Always"? Bullet and hyperbullet are an invention of the 21th century.
And I'd argue that they are more like a variant (like Antichess, Crazyhouse and so on) rather than "real" chess anyways..

No matter how you try to spin it, in the end you are just salty because you didn't succeed to get your dirty win.
@ProfDrHack I could not agree more with you. My mother always says that bullet, hyper and ultra are not chess (she used to be quite good when she was young, over 2000 ELO and she was also a WNC) :D
