Stockfish has "confused" takeback ?!

While playing the game against Stockfish, due to a misclick, I applied for a takeback. He was on the Stockfish move after that event, but he didn't make the charged move anymore and his time was running out. Is this a bug or is there a reason for "unresponsiveness" elsewhere?

Has this happened before? If so, how can you reproduce it?

It might be a one-time thing.

It happened to me for the first time, namely that Stockfish no longer played after takeback.

It always just gives me the takeback, it might be some glitch.

I'm confused, I thought a developer fixed this in the last 30 days.
