Stockfish 9+

I'm facing a problem regarding the updated stockfish 9+ chess engine. During analysis mode I usually use the infinite analysis & it was completely ok for previous stockfish 8+ but now after the update it has become very very slow that infinite analysis does not work. It always shows loading. Pls help me on this issue. Thanks for your kind support :-)

@Toadofsky I'm using windows 10, 64-bit OS, x64 based processor, Intel core i3 6100U-CPU @ 2.30 GHz, 4 GB RAM(1.91 GB usable). My browser is Firefox quantum 58.0.1(32-bit).

Hope & pray this info helps coz I'm really missing Stockfish infinite analysis. Thanks again for your kind support :-)

I'm also seeing strange behaviour from Stockfish 9+ in the analysis board. As well as seeming much slower than 8+ (analysis depth 24), of the three main lines which appear top right, two of them are identical. And ome arrows on the board indicating the "best" moves don't seem to correspond to the best lines.

Windows 10 64 bit, in Chrome Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit)

OK, I have Windows 10, Waterfox (64-bit) and Chrome (64-bit)... I'll see if I can reproduce these issues.

lichess was offline since my post and restarted and some of the strange behaviour (but not all of it) has gone away. It still seems to get stuck at 23/24 plymoves depth and the arrows still don't match up. If you it would help I can send the PGN of the game I'm analysing. Not sure if I can send a screen grab here.

I've got Stockfish running in both Windows 10 64-bit browsers (Waterfox/Chrome) and I'm not yet reproducing problem(s). I'll continue thinking about & monitoring it but presently (without any error messages in the browser console and not observing slowness) I'm very confused.

@CUJimmy That is very interesting, earlier today (after Magnus started playing!) there was a server load issue (so possibly some files didn't download properly? idk).

Does it say “WASM” or “ASMJS” in the evaluation box? My uses is that something went wrong and you got downgraded to ASM stockfish (which is a slower technology)
