By solving “easy” puzzles like mate in one to easily boost your rating.
After a while, it rates your skill in mate in one very highly, causing it to not give you points for a 2200 rated puzzle, even if your puzzle rating is 2200.
If you ever surpass 2500, for the puzzle rating to display to other people, you must be rated 1800 in a category of standard chess.
Not exactly “banned” but just discourages you from doing easy puzzles to boost your rating.
Remember, puzzles are not a competition, they are there to improve your actual rating in standard chess, where it is a competition.
