It's not gone. Once you analyse a game with server analysis, look in the hamburger menu in the bottom left (learn from mistakes).

I can confirm that the "three little dots" have been implemented into the app with the latest update, working perfectly.

These dots show up in about 10 seconds after you disconnect, but reconnecting takes merely 2-3 seconds when back online.
Not just that, you guys fixed the wifi icon next to your name, included the word "Reconnecting", and fixed the signal bars to register pings >500ms.

Kudos to the team!
I will definitely be switching over to the new app, now that the only thing holding me back has been resolved.

The app is great as it stands, but I would like to suggest a few more features to make it even better:

  • Access to forums and blogs within the app to make it extra convenient to talk to the community without switching over to the website.

  • Play over LAN to play with your friends and family on the app when physical board and pieces are unavailable even when the internet is down.

  • Offline-only Studies within the app where you can jot down your thoughts for each move as a "comment" , complete with an import/export feature and a local computer analysis.
    This will help those who prefer personal chess exploration/study/preparation locally without uploading their thoughts to the cloud.

I don't want to spread a dangerous idea here, that I work for Lichess, because I don't. I am just the developer of LiChess Tools, a browser extension. And yes, I KNOW, it was a poorly chosen name, but I am stuck with it now ':-)

This is all the doing of the Lichess team, not me.

i just want to say that new app is absolute garbage and the way they making us upgrade is also garbage. This type of behaviour will just make me stop using lichess all together
