Playing non blitz tournaments for money.

I understand that online chess tournaments with monetary prizes are problematic because of engine assistance and only rarely we see some with low monetary prizes but in the blitz format because making use of an engine at such time pressures is impractical if not impossible to coordinate.

But I still believe that there is a way to make sure that nobody is cheating it just needs to be a little more elaborate and needs a small budget and effort which on the other hand are worth it in my opinion for participating in such a tournament.

One simply has to run a special "tournament" version of lichess which could be like a stand alone client that either monitors every process in the background and publicly uploads the log file in real time or that locks on full screen and doesnt allow any other application to run after it started. (or even a linux bootable distribution that is naked of everything and locked having just lichess available)

then you need to have live webcam stream of two angles
Angle1 a webcam behind you showing you sitting in front of your computer with visibility on your ears and hands and the computer itself.
Angle2 a webcam in front of you continuously streaming your face and what's behind you.

Headphones or anything else close to your shoulders or ears are not allowed.

Both streams should be live WITH audio and transmitting alongside the match

the camera2 infornt of you should show us if you look upside (maybe to a screen with a chess engine) or to any other angle that the camera1 isnt able to record
and camera1 will show us that nobody is next to you or no screens/smartphones or other electronics what so ever are around you.

Recording of audio would ensure that nobody tries to tell you the chess moves from an other room or something or uses sounds or what not (e.g Morse code)

So from the participant side it only needs two web-cameras (relatively inexpensive although they should be wide angle ones ) and a fully light (and tidy :P ) room

Which is a reasonable expense (considering what other people pay for their hobbies or sports accessories)

What do you think ?
