New Variant

Hello to all chess lovers,

For a couple days, I was thinking that it would be fun if we introduce a new variant on this website. The concept is simple: it takes a bit from the current variants that we have (racing kings, antichess and three checks). Here is the idea: the goal of this variant is to bring your kings to the other side, in a normal chess board. If your king get five timed checked, you lose the game. You can capture every piece, except for the king. You must be careful where your pieces are in order not being stalemated. I already have a name to this variant: Power Chess.

I think it is interesting to take a part of each variant to create a new variant. It demands more time to calculate and people must think twice before making a move, because they have to think of the power that these three variants have.

why are u thinking of new variants instead of playing normal chess and improve ur rating

It sounds like a very hard and mind-breaking variant (at least for me).

Sounds interesting, but it seems pretty much impossible to get your king to other side if your opponent has any pieces left. It could be just that if you get checkmated you lose.

Guys, if you have something that you would suggest to make it better, all requests are welcome. Lets try together all of us to create a brilliant new variant.

This simply won't work i don;t have any suggestions but every game will literally be played like a normal chess game. Checks will barely matter... whoever has more space should win most of the time.

and @FalconPower there is already a variant(not on lichess) called power chess, it's where every piece is a queen except the king
