New Leader Board Sorting Options

Whereas currently the Leaderboard only shows the top rated players on the website.
Can you add options to sort the Leaderboard in different ways like:
top rated, top rated masculine, top rated feminine, top rated by country, top rated by age, top rated by month of birth, by time frame, and other imaginative sorting options, please?
What about gender-neutral and other genders?

What about refugees who do not identify with a country?

What about adopted people who don't know their birthdays?
Any data for things like country, age and gender collected by a free website isn't going to be very accurate. The number of people I've seen on here from the Isle of Man is somewhat out of proportion with what I'd expect :) Best just to stick with top ratings in my opinion.
The OP is nonsense, but a sorting by

rating - ( ( rating - average opponent rating ) / 2 )

would be interesting though.
@Toadofsky less than 1% of the world identifies as gender neutral. Gender is a binary category which means there are only two genders. Personally, I came from a different country than the one I live in at the moment and for the first couple of years I lived Canada I identified as Guatemalan, but now I identify as Canadian which is why my flag on my profile is the Canadian flag. So let people identify with the country they want to identify with. Adopted people who don't know their birthdays which is also a small percentage of the population can add their 'adoptedday'.

@tipau it won't be accurate, but you can get verified through a process.

@jatekos OP is sensible. That seems interesting.
"you can get verified through a process" - cool story, bro...
#5 Gender is the range of characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity. Depending on the context, these characteristics may include biological sex (i.e. the state of being male, female, or an intersex variation), sex-based social structures (including gender roles and other social roles), or gender identity. People that do not identify as having a male or female gender are often grouped under the umbrella terms non-binary or genderqueer. Some cultures have specific gender roles that are distinct from male and female, such as the hijras of South Asia. These are often referred to as third gender.

Probably best for Lichess to focus on its primary purpose: chess.
This is why I suggest:

rating - ( ( rating - average opponent rating ) / 2 )

Punishes players who systematically play much lower rated opponents.

All about chess this is.
