New game mode suggestion: 2 vs. 2 regular chess

Maybe some of you play with friends and some of you have seen this on youtube videos. It's just regular chess with teams.

We got 4 players: White1, White2, Black1 and Black2.

White1 plays white's odd moves (1, 3, 5...), White2 plays the even moves (2, 4, 6...)

Black1 plays black's odd moves (1, 3, 5...), Black2 plays the even moves (2, 4, 6...)

No chat allowed during the game so 2000 rated W1 player doesn't help 1500 rated W2 player.

Let's say we have a 5 minute pool for these team fights. Every player's position rotates like W1, B2, W2, B1
Yes this would be interesting, and there could also be tag tournaments limited with rating like U 1800 where the combined rating of the two players would have to be under 3600 or 4000 for under 2000 tournament, so a father could theoretically play in a tag tournament with his small son.
I like this idea! I think it would also be great to have a 2v2 tournament where each game you are paired up with a different partner each game in the same way you're paired with different opponents. This would mean people couldn't 'game' the system by two friends teaming up in real life so they can communicate freely with each other and have an advantage over their opponents who cannot communicate and form plans.

I think the rating of the individual players shouldn't matter, only the combined rating of the teams, so for example a 2500 and a 500 player could be teamed up against a 1500 and a 1500 as both teams have a combined rating of 3000.
