moving then timing out

i have played multiple games that i lost because i timed out but i still made a move.
a solution to this would be to give a tiny amount of time based on how good your internet connection so that when you move there is no delay and time lost in games

that also happend a couple of times when i had 2 sec. per move.

But the internet connection fluctuates, and then you'll look at an incorrect timer. I wouldn't want that.

It happens more lately. Your last move did not get through to the lichess server or to your opponent.

Once i had king and queen vs king endgame. I did the last move which was a checkmate. The funny thing is that i was doing it exactly at 0.0 time remaining
So it literally said: "checkmate, 1/2-1/2"
