Today I've seen three instances of a variant being evaluated as "#0" very briefly. Twice it was just for a fraction of a second, but once it stayed there for a second or two -- I wasn't quick enough to take a screenshot, but I'll keep trying. I'd never seen this before, and now three times in a row, so it seems likely to be related to a recent change.

Can you post a game link?
Can you post a game link?
Sorry, I can't -- I'll look out for it and post a game link and if possible a screenshot if I see it again.

@isaacly : It just occurred in analyzing this game:

Here's a screenshot captured a few seconds after it occurred: https://ibb.co/gfehZH. I stepped through the game from the beginning, to a few moves past 7. O-O-O, then back before 7. O-O-O and tried the variation 7. f4 h6 8. Bh4; that's when "#0" briefly appeared as the evaluation of the top variation in the list (but not in the overall evaluation above that). Hope that helps.

The are various chess problems who deal with the #0 in a humorous way.
The Ba8 reveals the secret, it can neither have moved from his original square nor he cannot be a promoted pawn. So what't the solution?

Well done, Sir!
Another brief flash of "#0" as the evaluation of the first variation while analyzing this game:

A screenshot right after it occurred: https://ibb.co/cjX3rx (the current variation is highlighted at 11. f4).

@isaacly I finally managed to get a screenshot: https://ibb.co/c6FXjH. In this case in fact the first three alternatives had shown "#0" (before, it had always been just the first one); by the time I took the screenshot only the top one was left. This is the game I was analyzing:
