In Lost Connection we lose even with a winning postion , this behaviour must be changed you can give the opponent an option to abort the game but not to claim a win !! ( i lost a game while i am 3 point ahead ) , or make a waiting peroid ( say 5 min ) to allow reconnect and continue

A. the opponent can make a draw when you leave should he/she choose
B. You could be using that 5 min to study the game on SF or something like that, if that policy were enacted and
C. There already is a waiting period, but it's about thirty seconds long.
I do know what you're talking about; my rating would probably be 50 pts. higher if not for disconnects. But that's a part of online chess, whether we like it or not. Put yourself in the other guys' shoes, too. Would you like to have to wait 5 minutes while the other guy reconnects in a 10+0 game? Or can you imagine if your opponent calls waiting period when you have a mate in one near the end of a tournament? Unfortunately, the downsides of the waiting period outweigh the upsides.

sorry to say that but some people don't have good ethics , so what to do then ( i think just hide the claim win button from him if he in a very bad position just display the abort or draw button

when i said 5 min waiting i was talking about long games like 45 45 or 30 30 and so you can make Proportion and fit between game time and waiting time

Last why not make an adjucated system or No Escape option like FICS
lichess is the best place i played chess at and i think if it enabled this features it will be more great

I wrote this topic becouse i lost a 45-45 game becoause lost connection and it was for a min , it was a winning game i was ahead by 3 points ,
