'Losing on purpose' messages are inappropriate

You need to change the message shown if you lose in the opening, you told me I lost on purpose which is just insulting and unnecessary, sort it out and stop displaying rude messages if people lose.

Also, in a bullet game I timed out and was warned for letting time run out after 5-10 seconds thinking, that's just ridiculous and really adds insult to injury when you lose, come on guys, why wind people up? Make it a chill experience, not super stressful and degrading.

Like, do you expect people to waste each other's time by playing clearly lost games like this? Come on, if people blunder then they blunder, no need to grill them and threaten banning them for something that's obviously an accidental slip.
@z49910150

Fully logical complain. I often miss dropping square due bad vision and reflexes, opponent won't takeback or I don't want to ask and then simply resign,

Thus such events can't be considered as "Losing on purpose" in any way.

Exactly!

I resigned out of respect so as not to waste their time or my own - like 'what do they want from me?!, is losing not enough?!' lol

Hopefully a slight adjustment could be made by the team, 'twould be nice :)
They don't have any proof that you're losing on purpose. I don't think that's fair.
Indeed, I would have no reason to do so anyway, perhaps it would be suspicious if i repeatedly did that but the occasional slip shouldn't be treated like that.
If you don't do it often, you won't have any issue. If you're a repeat offender, you'll get bans. The warning is here to make you aware that you should not do it. Hanging a piece on move 2 should be extremely rare. The detection is here for good reason, to help catch people who manipulate their ratings.

Also, the position with the lost bishop still has an around 30% winrate in the lichess blitz DB, being a piece down early on is not game over.
"If you don't do it often, you won't have any issue"

I've expressed clearly why it is an issue, even if it is rare in occurrence, doubling down and repeating the rules at me is just rude, unhelpful, and carries forward the exact same negative sentiment that I am criticising here in this forum post, to the agreement of others...

Also, I explained clearly why I didn't play that game, who on earth plays a lost position with <30% chance of winning?! Be serious, do you normally like to waste people's time in games? Don't be ridiculous, it is definitely game over and anybody that thinks otherwise is surely a complete patzer.
I think you're overreacting. If you're not manipulating your rating in any way then the "warning" has absolutely no bearing on you. Just ignore it and continue to play chess. It's ridiculous to criticize something that helps make your experience on Lichess a better one by catching cheaters, even if it hurts your feelings a little.
