In the middle of this game, I lost my internet connection. After successfully reconnecting I still got plenty of time to play, but the game was ended. I got the message "black left the game". I had no reason to leave the game, my position was just fine. I also lost 12 rating points. I would like to get a refund.

"In the middle of this game, I lost my internet connection."
Is this Lichess's fault? No? Then why should they refund you the points? Just play more games and earn them back.

@ChesswurmOTB It is my fault that I lost time during the connection failure, it is their fault that I lost the game even though when I reestablished my connection I still had time left on the clock.

You can blame the Bardelebens (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curt_von_Bardeleben#Game) for this. Unfortunately, lichess has to choose between inconveniencing players who legitimately lose connection and allowing players to inconvenience their opponents when in a losing position. They chose the former.
