Lichess site Crashes

I am a teacher and I have a 45 min chess elective. I am trying use Lichess as my site of choice, but every time my 25 or so students try to log on, it crashes the site. I tested with my team, around 18 students and we had no issue. Is there something else going on?
lichess is ok i guess Your students have simular ip adress and cant log in
but why such a difference between the morning group and the afternoon group? Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Just have 18 log in then if 25 is an issue and some students can rotate with others so everyone will get a turn :)
It sounds like a limit on logons from the same (or very similar) ip. Your IT staff may be able to give you more unique ip's, if your network has enough available ones. Lichess IT staff could possibly increase the limit per IP, either for all users or for selected school networks. The limit is likely imposed to prevent denial-of-service attacks

If you can post the error message you get, it might help identify the problem. What I would expect is that you get logon failure after a certain number are already on, but the symptom might be different.
I'll take some pictures tomorrow. I kind of gave up today and just had them play over the board. Which isn't the end of the world, but with 25+ kids in 45 minutes its a lot of clean up and even among high school, I can't promise legal moves are being played. I can't be every where
Huh, I wonder if there's a rate limit around 20 connections or something... I'll ask other developers for advice.
Thank you, it would be helpful if they bumped it up to like 35, a class size max for schools.
I've contacted OP via PM to resolve the problem
