Hey I would like to know the current algorithm for puzzles that are assigned to a player, its kinda getting on my nerves now.
When doing puzzles I normally get all easy puzzles/puzzles way below my tactics rating. This results in my rating barely increasing, and sometimes I get one of these easy puzzles wrong, and my rating tilts. I don't really ever see harder puzzles, not sure if that's a result of me getting easier puzzles wrong. Looking back, before a tactics rework here on lichess I remembered you used to be able to select between 3 different difficulties of puzzles, easy medium and hard. Is it possible if you guys could improve this so we players can select the difficulties of puzzles?
I would much rather do puzzles on chess.com these days, but I don't wanna pay for unlimited puzzles, and so I'm limited to 5 a day. I think puzzles and the new puzzle rush modes on chess.com are much more attractive to players than the tactics here on lichess in my opinion, with the only problem being that you have to pay there.
Improving puzzles here would most likely result in a higher chance for players to improve in tactics and attract more people.
