why would you (or anyone) artificially deflate or inflate ratings? I can understand sandbagging to try and win money from tournaments but what's the gain from doing it online?

I have seen Atrophies videos and he seems like a great guy and it is heartbreaking to see him banned however I am sure lichess wont just ban such a popular user for no reason and I hope a good solution is found soon

I cannot believe that they have done this. Kafkaesque. As for ZH rather than CH, I would have thought that CH could be short for chess, no? In British English we say Zed, but in American English Z is pronounced 'zee', as in ku-RAY-zee. Thus, ZH = craZyHouse.

What exactly was the evidence does anyone know?
