I was wondering if you guys could maybe release the whole analysis board/study type thing as a downloadable program to use when offline if it isn't too much of a bother.
I'd like to see a "browser-free" client which integrates with Lichess studies.
How about an "internet-less" browser?
I've not tried it but chrome supports 'offline mode' where you can cache the internet - if it works for studies let us know.

Be careful about using offline studies... I don't know where they'd get saved.
I started to work on supporting lichess studies offline in pychess. It still has bugs but the basic is there. See github.com/pychess/pychess
Nice @gbtami.
I had a quick look at the study format for 'interactive lesson' mode used on lichess - I'm not sure if the study mode is exported in the PGN. My idea is to generate some annotated/diagramed puzzles from old games and import them.

Some other info also missing from .pgn export of studies. I filed an issue here github.com/ornicar/lila/issues/3960
There is already support for alternate lines (parenthesis and within these use { comments} ).

[Event "100 endgames: Chap. 6, Rook vs. 2 pawns: Endgame 32: Only the defending king plays a part ( king in contact with pawns)"]
[Result "*"]
[Annotator "@randmplayer"]
[FEN "8/8/5KP1/5P2/8/2k4r/8/8 b - - 0 1"]
[SetUp "1"]
{ When the weaker king is in contact with the pawn and the stronger king is too far away, the pawns can win. }
1... Rf3! { First black prevents the king from moving forward. This is the only idea to draw in this position. } (1... Rg3?? 2. Kg7! { White gets ready to advance the f pawn and black is lost })
Alas the hint text is not captured in the PGN. A long time ago not even circles and arrows were in the PGN file, maybe one day in the future other things get exposed.
