It displayed my opponent timed out in my screen, but server recorded as I lost by time out.

Maybe this problem happened after server update.

This one shows my opponent timed out.

this server shut down sometimes happens.

we can do anything against it
T_T
I know server shut down sometimes and it's necessary.
But I can't understand the result of the game.
If it cannot be continued, drop from both side can be accepted.
I think it'd be better cancel all the game on going when server update or restart.
Because it was warned already before it happen.
The problem is that your board, score sheet, and clock are local on your computer. So you do not notice that a move failed to be transmitted.
Most prudent is to not start a game after you see the bottom left orange server restart warning.
After server restart you can refresh the page.
@hkjin81 I Think The Best Would Be canceling all games.

but then the person who is losing will win a draw or cancelation,
I doubt it's a server problem, most likely you disconnected and as tpr said, it looks like your opponent is timing out but in reality you are.
