Inflated ratings on the site

Isn´ t the big difference between online rating and FIDE rating, that in real life you basically play the same players in your city or nearby area all the time, maybe perhaps your country if you’re traveling to tournaments? So I mean if you play like the same 20-30 players all the time the ratings will remain pretty stable, but the biggest reason for this might be that it is just the same players. So a 1500-player from a city in France for instance might be much stronger or weaker then a player with the exact same rating in Sweden for example, depending on their competition.
In online chess you practically play against new players all the time, if you play bullet or blitz you might test your strength against 50-100 players with different playing styles in one day.
So I think it’s pretty difficult to compare ”real” ratings to online rating, and they both have their strength and weaknesses.
