I gave you another chance Lichess

I have posted before about the games freezing on me. I just had a tournament game lost on time because the board would not let me move. Made the move and it froze until I timed out. Was actually considering supporting the site, stupid me.

See, there are lots of cool features but if the basic functionality -- playing chess -- doesn't work then the rest is meaningless. It's a shame you guys can't make it work right. I'd be willing to accept a little more lag if it actually worked.

Never had a problem with lichess. It works fine. Love the ethos of the place. Nice work Thibaut. I would know I claim because I've been playing online since the 90s.

Don’t blame @Emaho , it always happens to my friends and I. The wifi connection is perfect, but it still freezes. I asked about it in the forums but nobody replied me.

It did happen to me several times in the past. Lost quite a bit of games by timeout.
However, that has stopped for the time being.
It wasn't a connection issue. Other sites were working just fine.

Maybe you should open a new issue that precisely describes your problem :

Lichess is free, open-source and maintained by volunteers, so the only way to keep it working well is to help developers to detect the problem.

This is a recurring issue although none of the developers have figured out how to reproduce it.

The board freezes for me too sometimes, usually on android mobile and during a premove gesture. I could always unfreeze it by going back and forwards one move.

Freezes quite often on my Android. Good to know there is one v way to unfreeze it. It often happens on a back rank move - and mysteriously on critical moves near the end of a game. I was beginning to suspect some hack.

Thank god. From the title I thought this was going to be about another global warming ad. Glad its just someone having a toaster for a computer and that I don't need to find another chess site.
