Just noticed that I'm following an account that's been ended - probably by the owner. Don't see any options how to unfollow it, but it shows up in the list of accounts I follow. :/

lichess.org/@/GonzoTheSmurf/following

Just click unfollow while browsing the list.

@GonzoTheSmurf you can also follow a closed account by finding who followed him.

Suppose you need to unfollow @mod (closed account)

Go to: lichess.org/inbox/mod
Then block him and unblock. you will unfollow him with this
