how do u stop pop ups when its ur move?

if im asjusting volume or something, damn pop up tells me its my move. settings button supposedly lets u then change chrome so it wont allow pop ups from lichess. i tried this and the pop up still comes. pretty annoying. any idea for fix?

On my device, it always states with a box a checkmark can go in "Don't allow this page to create any more pop-ups"

Something similar should be found in all browser's security settings

"pop ups and redirects" is "blocked" but the pop up still comes through

Then it could not b a pop-up, what I mean is it could be an embedded item that looks like a pop-up but is not so that the blockers can't block it. I know how these things work being an advanced programmer so that's what it sounds like, unless the setting is somewhere on lichess it will be impossible given that info

ive been thinking what u suggest. but on the "pop up" iitself there is a settings button that redirects u to chrome settings if pushed. but then the problem i explained above occurs. ahh. interesting idea. i will look at lichess settings... nope. not seeing anything. if ur right then its a bug, cuz u cant change your volume while ur playing a game as the embedded item pops up over the volume bar.

I haven't had a pop-up like that occur for me, so I don't know the particulars, but, based on that info, I would conclude that it is not using the alert(); command but some other embedded jQuery/DOM set of commands to skirt the pop-up blocker

Are you referring to the notifications? Can't you just disable them?

Maybe post a screen shot? It's not clear what you're talking about.

it seems the pop up only occurs when ur opponent has just made a move (only for a few seconds) AND ur doing something on ur pc like changing the volume or checking a skype message.
