I had been kicking around the idea of a chess variation where you can only see the spaces your pieces occupy or are attacking. Chess with imperfect knowledge.
Turns out -- it (of course!) already exists, and the rules have been thought through by people much smarter than myself.

Is their appetite / interest / dev time for Lichess to add additional variants like dark chess?
