I have a few feature requests. I don't expect these to be in lichess.org anytime soon, but I hope they make it.
Anyways, here we go:
1. Bug-house
I remember playing this variant before COVID struck, so I had to go on lichess.org. I would really like to have bughouse in lichess.org.
2. Custom pieces. This could be a variant, and to be fair, both sides have the same pieces with the same setup.
3. Insane-house. Ok, I did make this one up, but here's how it works: Like crazy-house, when you take a piece you use it, BUT you can split up the points. Let's say you got 9 points from the queen, and made it a rook(5), a bishop(3), and a pawn(1). This would be allowed in the variant because 5+3+1=9. Also, if you take 2 rooks, you could use the points to get a queen and a pawn.

5. Custom king(s) Maybe instead of having to protect the kings, you have to protect the bishops(or any other piece), and if they both get taken, you lose. Also, if it's horde maybe the pawns on the 1st rank are the ones you have to protect. Also, it could be horde vs. horde, in that case you would highlight the white 'king-pawns' silver and the black ones gold. Same with bishops, knights, rooks, queens, and even a horde of kings!
