When requesting a computer analysis I'd like the option to have it done by my browser, to a depth of my choosing. The server analysis with "learn from my mistakes" is quite useful, but (by necessity) a bit superficial. I don't mind letting my computer churn for a while, and perhaps Lichess would also benefit in a slightly lighter server load.

Sounds like a nice option to have, the only "problem" (not even sure if it is one) would be consistency in Chess Insights for example if some games are analysed locally to a depth of 30 plies, but the Lichess server analysis reaches 40 plies per move (random numbers, I don't actually know what it reaches).
