On several occasions pieces disappear at the beginning of the game - as a result, there is a warning and subsequently the ban. Could you work this out?

Sorry, this has been reported several times and so far none of the developers have been able to reproduce it.
I had a similar occurrence (only once, though) when I had just come from the broadcast(beta)-section. When I was paired for the first game in a tournament there were missing most of the control buttons and I couldn't make a move. If I remember it correctly there was only the chess board, but without any pieces.
Are you using an up-to-date browser with a stable internet connection?
