create accounts for kids (same home, same IP address)

Hello,

I like lichess, and I want to create accounts for my 3 kids.

They don't have email address, and I'm unable to create new account with my email address.

I can create free mail addresses (I prefer not to), but apparently, by doing that, I will be banned because of multiple account from same IP?

Is there a solution for my kids account?

I would talk to the mods. The reason multiple accounts are not allowed is because of farming points and sandbagging, that's, why it says, discouraged but it is still allowed. I have an alt like some people do @legobuilder2, but I don't use it to cheat. Also, people can have multiple bot accounts. I would DM a moderator to ask for permission first, that's what I did, and you should have no problem making multiple accounts.

You can create accounts for your kids, don't worry about a ban for that :) Also, I would recommend you make sure to turn on kid mode for them. [ lichess.org/account/kid ]

There is also lichess.org/class but I am not sure if you would prefer that (unless you have a lot of kids)

ok. I will then create 3 emails adress in any provider, then create accounts.
I saw "kid mode", and I like this feature.

You can create aliases with gmail so you don't have to create a new account completely. Go to mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?pli=1#settings/accounts and click "Add a mail account". After that a new window will pop up and it will ask you to create a new account. The new accounts will go to your old gmail account. Use the new accounts to create new lichess accounts.

@HexPixel go to lichess.org/class and request be a coach, create a class called ''Family '' or ''Kids'' and put ''Add new student'' go to create new Lichess account and put the username and the name for your kids, and copy the password for his account and this is all for how to create a account without a email

also when you create the account automatically the kid mode are activated
