Is it possible in a rated game to claim victory if your correspondence opponent just straight abandons the game? My correspondence opponent hasn't even logged into his (or her) account in two weeks. This particular game is the person's first game on lichess, so he was probably testing out the site and never came back.

I'm curious about how you can claim your opponent abandoned the game in correspondence. If the time control is unlimited, which actually is 21 days, it doesn't matter if they haven't logged in for two weeks, they still have time.

The good thing about correspondence is that you don't need to keep the tab open until your opponent moves, you can very quietly do else and forget about it and eventually you'll win on time.
